Axsis Film Library & Seasons
Axsis Film organizes your local library using team, season, game, and opponent information. This organization uses metadata rather than moving or renaming your original files.
Set up your teams
Section titled “Set up your teams”Open Settings > Teams & Seasons to add your school or organization and your teams. Team names and aliases help the app recognize film.
When adding film, review the detected season, team, opponent, level, and film type. Open saved film through Library Film or Recent Film.
Choose a library view
Section titled “Choose a library view”| View | Contents |
|---|---|
| Active Team | Film matched to your current team |
| All Teams | Film across teams |

Film sections
Section titled “Film sections”- Game Film belongs to a game.
- Scout Film is connected to a game or opponent.
- Season Film includes cutups, practice, scout, and teaching film.
- Other Film includes clinics and reference video.
Keep source files available
Section titled “Keep source files available”Videos and spreadsheets stay on your computer. Notes, edited fields, playlists, and virtual clip markers are stored separately.
Backups and snapshots
Section titled “Backups and snapshots”Settings > Export > Data Backup Export saves app-owned metadata, including notes, favorites, playlists, edited details, and organization and game information.
Automatic local snapshots also preserve metadata for recovery support. Neither metadata backups nor snapshots contain copies of your source videos or source spreadsheets. Back those files up separately.
There is no restore interface for these backups or snapshots in the current beta. A metadata export should not be treated as a complete, self-service migration.
