Axsis Film Breakdown Data
Axsis Film can display breakdown data alongside local video. The beta detects XLSX, XLS, and CSV files and reads the first worksheet of a workbook.
Choose the right breakdown file
Section titled “Choose the right breakdown file”- Import the film folder.
- If the folder contains multiple breakdown files, choose the correct one in the sidebar.
- Review the displayed breakdown fields against the film.
If the data looks wrong, check the selected file first. You can continue reviewing video without a spreadsheet.
How clips and rows are matched
Section titled “How clips and rows are matched”Clipped-film filenames supply clip numbers. The app recognizes a number following “clip” in the filename and groups detected angles for that clip number.
The app recognizes play or clip number columns, including PLAY #, Play Number, Clip #, and Clip Number. It checks whether the initial spreadsheet rows agree with the detected clip numbers before using play-number alignment. Otherwise, it aligns spreadsheet rows by row position and clip number.
A recognized number column alone does not guarantee play-number matching. Check the alignment information and verify that the breakdown describes the video you are watching.
Unmatched items
Section titled “Unmatched items”| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Breakdown rows without a matching clip | Spreadsheet data exists without a corresponding detected video clip. These rows do not change the playable clip list. |
| Clips without breakdown metadata | Video exists without a matched spreadsheet row. You can still review the video. |
| No PLAY # column detected | The app falls back to row and clip-number alignment. |
| Multiple breakdown files | Select the file that matches the game in the sidebar. |
This beta does not provide a documented manual rematching procedure here. If selecting the correct file does not resolve the mismatch, contact support with the message and a description of the folder contents.
Notes and edited fields
Section titled “Notes and edited fields”Coach notes and edited breakdown fields are saved separately from the original spreadsheet. Use Export CSV to save breakdown information; exporting metadata does not export video.
