Importing Film into Axsis Film
Use Add Game(s) to bring local film into the library. Normal import does not move, copy, rename, delete, cut, or change your original videos or spreadsheets.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”Keep the film folder accessible on this computer. The reviewed beta scans MP4 video and detects XLSX, XLS, and CSV breakdown files. File detection does not guarantee that every video codec will play.
Add a film folder
Section titled “Add a film folder”- Select Add Game(s).
- Choose one game folder, a season folder, or a parent folder containing film.
- Review the film the app detects.
- Check and correct the sport, season, team, opponent, level, and film type.
- Add the film, then open it from Library Film or Recent Film.
Expected result: the library lists the added film and opens it for local review.
Film with breakdown data
Section titled “Film with breakdown data”When one breakdown file is detected, the app can open the film with that data. If multiple breakdown files are found, choose the one for the game in the sidebar.
Read Breakdown data before relying on the alignment between a video and a spreadsheet row.
Film without breakdown data
Section titled “Film without breakdown data”You can review video without a spreadsheet. Clipped film opens in Clips Only mode. Longer or unnumbered source video can open in Video Only mode, where time navigation and virtual clips can be useful.
If the folder is not detected as expected
Section titled “If the folder is not detected as expected”Broad parent folders may include clinics, cutups, or other video that needs metadata review. Detection depends on folder structure and filenames. Drag-and-drop import is not available in this beta.
